If you receive OPERA NEWS (either as a Guild Member or Direct Subscriber), you can Log In to the left.
Try this first: If you were registered at our old site, try logging in first with the Username and Password that
you were using there. We imported a great many registrations from our prior site, which many of you can simply
continue to use.
Try this next: If your previous registration information is not recognized, or if this is your first time
logging in to this site, please log in using your:
Account Number or Member Number as your Username, and Your last name (as it appears on your account) as your
Password.
You will then be prompted to choose a new Username and Password that is easier for you to remember.
You can find your account number in several places:
- over your name with your OPERA NEWS mailing address
- on your Membership card if you're a Guild Member
- on your Met Gift Collection Catalogue in a blue box in the mailing panel
- on certain mailings from us, such as renewal notices, subscription invoices, etc.
When you log in using your account number, be sure to use only the numbers that make up your account number.
You account number does not include:
- the letters A or B preceding your account number on your gift catalogue
- the numbers 01 preceding your account number on your direct subscriber copies of OPERA NEWS
- any extra zeros preceding your account number. Your account number never starts with a zero.
Both Guild Members and Direct Subscribers can also request their account numbers via e-mail. Send your request to
guild@mail.metopera.org. Please allow 24 hours for a response.
Only Guild Members and OPERA NEWS Direct Subscribers, are entitled to Log In and enjoy the premium content at this website, and to participate in the opera discussions in Standing Room. We invite you to learn more about
