Gounod’s classic retelling of the Faust legend stars Joseph Calleja in the title role, opposite Marina Poplavskaya as Marguerite and Ferruccio Furlanetto as the devil. Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff updates the story to the first half of the 20th century. Alain Altinoglu conducts.
