Régine Crespin is the courtesan Giulietta, Colette Boky is Olympia, the mechanical doll who magically comes to life, and Lucine Amara is Antonia, the young innocent who tragically sings herself to death. Gabriel Bacquier delivers a thrilling portrayal of the Four Villains, and Frederica von Stade is Hoffmann’s sidekick and muse, Nicklausse.
