Varis Rush Tickets

The 2009-10 season opens on September 21!

The popular Agnes Varis and Karl Leichtman Rush Tickets program returns for its third season. Thanks to a generous gift from Met Board member Agnes Varis and her husband, Karl Leichtman, two hundred orchestra seats are available for $20 for regular performances Monday through Thursday (excluding galas, special events, and opening nights of new productions), 50 of which are set aside for senior citizens.

The general public can purchase their Varis Rush Tickets at the Met box office beginning two hours before curtain, subject to availability.

Rush Tickets for Seniors

Senior citizens do not have to stand in line but can reserve their tickets right here, or by calling 212-362-6000, beginning at noon on the day of the performance. This offer is restricted to two tickets per order, and proof of age is required when tickets are picked up at the box office.
