If the Metropolitan Opera reasonably determines that literal compliance with this purpose is or becomes impossible, impracticable, or financially difficult, then the Metropolitan Opera may apply this endowment gift in support of its general corporate purposes, giving particular consideration to my special interest as described above.

Your lawyer may ask you for some essential tax information about the Metropolitan Opera.
