Great Reasons To Subscribe

Congratulations to Margaret Brown of Williamsburg, MA; our Win Your Subscription for Free winner.

The Time to Subscribe Is Now

The musical and theatrical excitement at the Met continues in the 2009–10 season, with eight new productions featuring the world’s top stars. Many performances at the Met sell out, so the best way to guarantee your place is to become a Season Subscriber, which provides ticket priority and other special benefits. You not only secure the same great seats at the lowest prices, but you also have the opportunity to purchase additional single tickets well ahead of the general public. The Met greatly values its Subscribers and Patrons, who are given the highest priority. We look forward to welcoming you as a Subscriber during this remarkable season.

Priority Seating

Subscribers and Patrons are assured the best seats in the house. Season Subscribers keep the same seats throughout the season and are seated before the general public.

Advance Purchase of Single Tickets

Back by popular demand! Season Subscribers and Patrons can purchase single tickets to the full season, as well as tickets to gala events—Opening Night, New Year’s Eve, new production premieres—at the time you subscribe. It’s the best way to ensure you don’t miss hit productions that may not be on your subscription. Plus, if you order your single tickets along with your subscription, we will cover the shipping and handling charges for those additional tickets.

Subscriber Savings

Season Subscribers enjoy significant savings over single ticket prices—up to 36% off!

Exchange Privileges

As a Season Subscriber, you may exchange performances on your series until one week prior to the performance, based on availability. While the vast majority of performances are available for exchange, there are some performances that are not. Performances that are ineligible for exchange.

And There’s More!

Advance notice of special offers from the Met, discounts on lectures and special Metropolitan Opera Guild programs, and a Guest Pass to the Belmont Room private intermission lounge for new subscribers.
