ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky choreographs an all-new Firebird, a legendary tale of the supernatural creature who helps two noble lovers overcome an evil sorcerer, performed to an iridescent score by Igor Stravinsky. Rounding out the program, Sir Frederick Ashton's beguiling retelling of Shakespeare’s comedy of errors, A Midsummer Night's Dream, is set in the magical woods of Victorian England to a spellbinding score by Felix Mendelssohn.
