NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. This drawing is open only to United States citizens and legal residents, at least 18 years of age who submit an entry from the United States. Directors, officers, employees and agents of The Metropolitan Opera and their families and household members, are not eligible. Void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited by law. Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries will be disqualified. Entries generated by script, macro, bot or other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. Entries must be received no later than 11:59 PM on July 2, 2007. Winners will be selected by random drawing to take place on or about July 9, 2007, from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Approximate retail value of each prize is $500 and of all prizes to be awarded is $3,500. Winners will be notified by email or phone. If the potential winner fails to respond within 15 days of the date of the notice, or otherwise fails to meet the eligibility or other requirements set forth herein, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and making all federal, state and local tax payments, including without limitation, income taxes and sales and use taxes, in connection with the award of any prize. Prizes are not transferable and there is no substitution (in cash or otherwise). All seats are subject to availability. All entries become the property of The Metropolitan Opera. Each winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release, and failure to do so within the time specified will result in forfeiture of the prize.

This drawing is subject to all federal state and local laws, rules and regulations. By entering this drawing, all entrants agree to these Rules and the decisions of The Metropolitan Opera, its officers, directors, employees and agents and release them from any and all claims and liability arising out of any this drawing, including without limitation, entry, the selection of the Grand Prize winners, the award of the prizes and the use thereof. The Metropolitan Opera makes no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, with regard to the drawing or the prizes. The Metropolitan Opera disclaims any and all liability for any computer equipment, software and/or transmission failure or malfunction or any damage caused to any entrant's computer equipment or software. The Metropolitan Opera is not responsible for any typographical, human or other error of any nature with respect to the entry form or prize notice, administration of the selection process or drawing or the announcement of the prizes. Any entry form or prize notice containing any error of any nature whatsoever shall be null and void. Metropolitan Opera reserves the right to terminate this contest and/or drawing, if, in its sole discretion, it determines that for any reason either or both are technically corrupted or are otherwise not capable of running as originally planned. In such event, prizes will be awarded from all eligible entries received prior to the date and time of termination. By entering, entrants agree that (1) this drawing and any and all aspects of the relationship between The Metropolitan Opera and entrants shall be governed by the laws of the state of New York, without giving effect to its conflicts of law principles, and (2) any litigation, claims, disputes or controversies concerning, arising out of or in connection with drawing or any prize awarded shall be brought only in a federal or state court in the county of New York, state of New York, and entrants consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts and waives any objection or defense concerning jurisdiction or venue that entrant could otherwise have in such courts.
