Career Highlights/Education: Received BA, MA and PhD in musicology from Columbia University. His dissertation is on early Beethoven. Was Principal Second Violin at the Théatre de la Monnaie in Brussels and has played with the Lincoln Center Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, Casals Festival, and the New York Pops. Composed The Space-Age String Orchestra. He has been Ass't. Professor of Music at Midwestern University (Wichita Falls, TX) and Virginia Commonwealth University and Chief Music Critic for the Richmond Times Dispatch.
