Career Highlights/Education: Holds B.M. and M.M. degrees from The Juilliard School, where he studied with Donald Harwood. He has been a member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra since 1981 and on the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music since 1988. Originally from Georgia, he grew up studying with Dr. Philip Jameson and did additional studies with Charles Vernon and Arnold Jacobs.
