Joined the Met: 1985
Education/Training: Graduate of the Juilliard School where she studied with James Chambers. She has also studied with Howard Howard and Carmine Caruso.
Career Highlights: She was co-principal horn of the Houston Symphony and principal horn of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. She has recorded with the New York Philharmonic, Orpheus, and with the Met Orchestra (most notably as horn soloist on the Wagner Ring cycle recordings conducted by James Levine). She is on the faculty Julliard, and has taught at the University of Houston, Rice University, Purchase College, Brooklyn College, and Bard College.
