Career Highlights/Education: Strauss Oboe Concerto with MET Orchestra, Carnegie Hall 2004. Oboe Instructor at Juilliard since 1982 and Woodwind Department Chairman since 1997. Artist faculty Aspen Music Festival since 1997. Teaches three intensive one-week summer seminars: Interlochen (MI), Le Domaine Forget Academie (Quebec), and the Hidden Valley Music Seminars (Carmel, CA). Solo CDs on Boston Records, Oboe Classics and Music Minus One. Trained at Cleveland Institute of Music with John Mack and Interlochen (MI) Arts Academy. Adult figure skater since 1994; earned gold medal for Adult “Moves in the Field” 2006.
