For the Met’s 125th Anniversary Gala on March 15, classic productions from a century and a quarter of the company’s history will be recreated using projections and pieces of scenery. Costume designer Catherine Zuber has taken original designs for Enrico Caruso, Rosa Ponselle, and Ezio Pinza, among other great artists, and reimagined them for the occasion.
