In this special one-night-only program, Thomas Adès curates an evening of music inspired by Shakespeare’s play, including arias from his opera and other settings of The Tempest. Works by Adès, Ives, Purcell, Stravinsky, and Tippett will be performed by chamber musicians and Met artists, including Adès on piano.
