Holding your tickets at the Box Office?
We recommend arriving at least one hour prior to curtain time. Please bring your order number and photo identification or the credit card used for payment.


 Opera

Single Tickets
There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. Casting and pricing is subject to change without notice. If you are unable to use your tickets, you may donate them to the Metropolitan Opera for resale until curtain time by calling Met Ticket Service at 212-362-6000.

Single Tickets Requested By Mail
We will make every attempt to fulfill your order with your first choice. Credit cards will not be charged until seats are assigned; however, your credit card will be charged for the donation portion of your order. We will notify you if we are unable to fulfill your order at the price(s) and location(s) requested.

Your tickets will be mailed once your order is processed. If you requested that we hold your tickets at the Box Office, you will be notified when they will be available for pick-up. If you have ordered a Full Series Subscription, or a Special Event performance including that the includes a Gala dinner, your tickets will be mailed separately.

Print Your Own Tickets
Because your order includes Print Your Own Tickets, you will receive a separate, second email with a PDF attachment containing your ticket(s) within 24 hours. Please add Tickets@metopera.org and PrintTickets@metopera.org as a safe sender in your address book. If you do not receive your PDF attachment containing your ticket(s) within 24 hours, contact Customer Care at 212-362-6000 or PrintTickets@metopera.org.

To view and print your tickets, you must have Adobe Reader version 7 or later. You can download the application for free.

2014-15 Subscriptions 
We will make every attempt to fulfill your order with your first choice. Credit card payments are processed upon receipt of your order for the value of your first subscription choice and your donation. If you selected a payment plan, your first installment will be charged immediately. We will notify you if we are unable to fulfill your order at the price(s) and location(s) requested.

Tickets will begin to mail in July continuing throughout the summer. If you requested that we hold your tickets at the Box Office, you will be notified when they will be available for pick-up. If you do not receive your tickets 3 weeks prior to the first performance, please call us. If you have ordered single tickets, or a Special Event performance including a Gala dinner, your tickets will be mailed separately.

*Subscriber Exchange Privileges:
- Exchange up to one week prior to performance by mail or in person without a fee

You may exchange your tickets for any performance during the season, with the exception
  of the Opening Night and New Year's Eve galas

Create Your Own Series

Your tickets will be mailed once your order is processed. If you requested that we hold your tickets at the Box Office, they will be available for pick-up in August. Please do not pick your tickets up until your order has been processed.

New Series Subscribers
We will make every attempt to fulfill your order with your first choice. Credit cards will not be charged until seats are assigned; however, your card will be charged for the donation portion of your order. We will notify you if we are unable to fulfill your order at the price(s) and location(s) requested.

If you have chosen to have your tickets held at the box office, you will be notified when they are available for pick up.

Renewing Subscribers and Renewing Subscribers with Change Requests
If you requested the same seats and series from last year, please note that we have processed your payment and have renewed your subscription(s). If you requested any changes, please note that we have processed your payment and will make every possible effort to accommodate your request.

Single Sale
There are no refunds, exchanges or adjustments of previous orders. Casting is subject to change without notice. If you are unable to use your tickets, you may donate them to the Metropolitan Opera/ABT for resale until curtain time by calling Met Ticket Service at 212-362-6000.

After seven (7) days your free trial will automatically convert to a monthly subscription, unless you cancel your trial by the expiration date listed in your confirmation. Log in and visit the "Your Account" section of Met Opera on Demand to cancel your trial. Upon expiration of the designated trial period, a $14.99 monthly subscription charge will appear on your credit card statement for this service.  This will guarantee that your enjoyment of Met Opera on Demand will continue without interruption.

Monthly
To guarantee your enjoyment of Met Opera on Demand will continue without interruption, your credit card will be charged $14.99 per month. For additional savings, upgrade to our Annual plan at any time for $149.99. This upgrade equals two free months of Met Opera on Demand each year!

Once you press play, you have 6 hours to enjoy your rental. If not activated, your rental will expire in 30 days from date of purchase.
