Help bring the Met’s thrilling Live in High Definition series to students!
The Met is going on the road to bring world-class opera performances to students in locations throughout the U.S. This past season, over 7,500 students, educators and parents participated in our successful pilot program of Live in HD transmissions in New York City public schools. Now we are expanding the program. This coming season, we will make five live transmissions available to students--for free--in schools in New York City and four to school districts across the country as part of The Met: HD Live in Schools.
Your financial support will help fund free HD tickets for students and teachers and provide pre- and post- performance educator materials, including guides, sound clips and other student activities, to make this an experience many will remember forever. A gift to the HD Education Fund does not confer benefits or privileges and is fully tax-deductible. If you are interested in learning about the benefits available through the Patron or Guild membership programs, please visit the Membership/Patron Program section of this web site. If you wish to make a gift to the broadcast campaign, please visit Support the Met Broadcasts section of the web site.
