Independent arrivals at the PARK LANE HOTEL on Central Park South. Welcome reception and dinner at the hotel.

Rossini’s ARMIDA (Metropolitan Opera - 8:00 PM). New Production. The cast: Renée Fleming, Lawrence Brownlee, Bruce Ford, José Manuel Zapata, Barry Banks, Kobie van Rensburg. Riccardo Frizza conducts. Production by Mary Zimmerman, sets and costumes by Richard Hudson, choreography by Graciela Daniele.

Friday, April 23
Morning and afternoon at leisure. A whole day to spend as you wish before enjoying this evening’s performance at the Met.

Wagner’s DER FLIEGENDE HOLLÄNDER (Metropolitan Opera - 8:00 PM). The cast: Deborah Voigt, Stephen Gould, Juha Uusitalo, Hans-Peter König. Kazushi Ono conducts. Production by August Everding, sets by Hans Schavernoch, costumes by Lore Haas.

Saturday, April 24
Morning at leisure.

Puccini’s TOSCA (Metropolitan Opera - 1:00 PM). New Production. The cast: Karita Mattila, Jonas Kaufmann, Bryn Terfel, John Del Carlo. James Levine conducts. Production by Luc Bondy, sets by Richard Peduzzi, costumes by Milena Canonero.
Dinner under the glittering Austrian chandeliers at the GRAND TIER RESTAURANT at the Met.

Verdi’s LA TRAVIATA (Metropolitan Opera - 8:00 PM). The cast: Hei-Kyung Hong, James Valenti, Thomas Hampson. Leonard Slatkin conducts. Production and sets by Franco Zeffirelli, costumes by Raimonda Gaetani, choreography by Maria Benitez.

Sunday, April 25
