Question: Has anyone ever sung both Amneris and Aida in their career on stage? (Of course at different times in their career.)

Diva: The answer is "yes." Two wonderful singers come immediately to mind -- Rose Bampton, who began as Amneris and later sang Aida, and Regina Resnik, who reversed that order.
