November 14 – Three Expressive Colors in Turandot

Puccini was a visually oriented operatic composer and his final masterpiece is his most colorful and variegated work. Turandot features the composer’s love of lush Italianate
lyricism, his adventurous attempts to echo this exotic and fantastic story, and his interest in modernist styles.
This event will be held in the Metropolitan Opera Guild Opera Learning Center on the 6th floor of the Samuel B. & David Rose building at Lincoln Center.
