Marilyn Horne praised the soprano for her commitment to young singers, not only as teacher and coach but as a board member of various foundations whose mission includes the support of emerging singers. Anna never forgot that she was a scholarship student at Curtis Institute and that a Fulbright Scholarship enabled her to train further, in Italy.
